P.A.W.S. is a mobile veterinary clinic that arrives at your home, at your convenience, and provides your pet  with quality veterinary care in the comfort of your home.
 
Dr. Peace recognizes that it can be difficult for many pet owners to take their pet to the veterinarian. Whether your schedule is too hectic, you have transportation issues, or your pet simply hates to travel, Dr. Peace can come to you for your pet care needs.
 
Dr. Peace provides annual checkups, vaccinations, as well as medical diagnostics for your pet. For owners interested in alternative veterinary treatments or where traditional veterinary care has proven unsuccessful, Dr. Peace can provide alternative veterinary treatments including veterinary chiropractics and Traditional Chinese Veterinary medicine.  

Dr. Peace is a graduate of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (Virginia Tech) and has been practicing in the greater Richmond area for 20 years in Dog, Cat, and Equine medicine. She is a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist certified by the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine of Reddick, Florida. Dr. Peace is also certified in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM).  

Dr. Peace also works with the Virginia Kennel Club providing consultation to Club members on the latest veterinary treatments as well as on-site veterinary care at the annual VKC Dog Show. In addition, Dr. Peace has formerly served with the Virginia Racing Commission and the United States Equestrian Federation ensuring the safety of horses in thoroughbred and standardbred racing and other equine equestrian atheletic events.

Dr. Peace is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, and a member of the International Society of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.

Please contact Dr. Peace to arrange an appointment. Pets requiring advanced diagnostics and hospitalization will be referred to a cooperating full service veterinary hospital. You can choose to continue with Dr. Peace as your attending veterinarian or transfer care to the veterinarian of your choosing.
